Registration for 2009- 2010 Priestess Path Apprenticeship is now closed for 2009 -2010. Next program begins September 2010.

Please contact ALisa about registering for our 2010 -2011 program. Priestess Path has been filling often with waitlists for many years. No one knows in the present economy what the outcome for September will be. We are moving forward as the work is so important for many women who choose to participate. Here are the steps for registering for 2010 -2011.

1. Teleconference dates:

 Will be resumed in late February or March of 2010

Anyone who is interested in Priestess Path must attend this call to hear logistics. The sooner you can be on a call, the more of an opportunity you will have to send in your deposit. We do not take any deposits prior until you have been on a teleconference. The conference calls will be one hour of describing logistics and thirty minutes longer for those who have questions.You need to RSVP for this call and you will get a number and access code to call in.

2. A deposit is what holds a woman's place for the program.Please fill out a registration form and send a printed copy with your deposit. Acceptance is a first register, first in basis. If you have already been on a teleconference call from other years and you want to register, you can simply email me and send in your deposit as long as step one and step two have already taken place.

3.NOTE: When the program fills registration fees are held without depositing until a space opens.

 ALisa Starkweather is devoted to women's empowerment and to bringing the balance of our deep feminine values into planetary alignment for the healing of our world for 24 years of her adult life. The Secret Seven Gates a Woman Passes Through
For Women Who Resonate With and Want To Be Part Of The Apprenticeship

Remember the lions at the gate of your innermost desire? Those barriers on your spiritual quest that stop you in your tracks and say, "Turn back here or you will be devoured?" You know what I mean don't you? (She smiles.) The following is my experience of the top seven gates that are barred and locked when women want to push back the world and make room for themselves. These are possible inner conditions that they face. They are very real. And, they do have solutions of which one must be able to look outside the box to find answers to. Here is where many turn back. Let's see if any resonate with you while you are deciding about this invitation life is offering you.

#1 Finances
"Not enough money", too much to spend, "I'm not worth it", scarcity, "I could never afford that." "I would rather spend it on something more tangible on things that I need." "The world is filled with too much uncertainty and instability" ............

 

#2 Time
"I really don't have the time. I am so busy. It is too long. I have too many obligations. Life is too full to add one more thing.".........

 

#3 Fear
" It is too scary. I could never.... I don't like snakes, fire, heights, the outdoors, my body exposed, talking in groups......"

 

#4 Lack of follow through and personal commitment
"Oops. Too late now. I don't know where I put it. Which dates are they again? I don't know. I'm not really sure. Part of me does and part of me doesn't. Oh well. I guess I'm not going....." Lots of back and forth movement with little pro-activity.

 

#5 Relationships with others (A BIG ONE FOR WOMEN!)
" I can't leave my partner, my mother, my volunteer group, my job, MY CHILDREN!" *Special support is indeed needed for mothering concerns and children are able to experience the greater community or tribe that surrounds them.

 

#6 The Schedule Conflict
"I was going to come but there is one weekend that is booked and it CAN'T be changed (watch that word! See if you can restate it from choice) I HAVE to go. There is nothing I can do about it. I am very disappointed but my hands are tied."

 

#7 Health Issues
"I have asthma, a bad back, depression, allergies. Different water gives me stomach aches. I won't be able to get enough sleep."

Now that I state them, I want you to know that I know all these reasons are perfectly valid and reasonable. And they all have creative solutions waiting for you to see. To get through these gates is like pushing in birth. You must make an act of commitment. Then, you will begin to see how, through the impossibilities. It is your life, your destiny, your choice. It is always the right time to choose loving yourself in greater capacities and moving through old stuck patterns that keep you bound to the same path. Women have been conditioned to sacrifice. The path of the Priestess is one of service. And yet the paradox of it remains that only until you learn to choose yourself fully can you really give away from an authentic and healthy place. What is my wisdom, therefore, for the above reasonable gates? Simple.

GET UNREASONABLE!

Just to speak of these gates can be touchy because the barriers look so real. The real answer lies in what is your right next step on your spiritual path. Look inside. Consider where you will be in your life without the apprenticeship in one year and then again if you did it. I commit to support you if you get stuck. We will meet for eight weekends over a nine month period. You will be arriving in Massachusetts on Friday evening by 7pm at various locations upon which you know in advance.  One is a journey to a cave in the Catkills of NY. We will be working together from Friday to Sunday evening at approximately 5pm. There will be a floor space option available for rustic overnight lodging. Some participants prefer to stay in local B&B’s during the weekend. Delicious lunches are prepared and shared among the participants. The group is a maximum of 24 women. There is almost always a waiting list for Priestess Path.

There will be several times in the winter and spring where you can choose to attend an hour long informational conference call where many logistical details are discussed to help you decide whether this is right for you and aligned with your vision. If you choose to proceed there is also another short telephone interview with ALisa so that she can hear directly from you what you are seeking to find in Priestess Path. If you then decide to enter the apprenticeship, your deposit is what saves your place.  Women in the apprenticeship need to enter this year with a high level of commitment to both their own growth and to the group’s. Although highly magical and rewarding, it will also be demanding and intense. ALisa will be working with you throughout the apprenticeship and guest teachers and guides will weave their wisdom and skills into that experience.

Each weekend is designed to powerfully move you forward in your life as you deepen your connection with Spirit and the mystery of who you really are. 

Did you know that there is a SECOND YEAR in Priestess Path? 

When Priestess Path opened in 1998, the first cycle that went through asked for a second year to continue the depth of their work and connection with one another. An optional second year was first offered in 1999 that is a totally different experience than the first year. Since that time, over half, and sometimes over three fourths, of the original group of 24 commit to continue in a second year of Priestess Path. This is by no way mandatory but often is what Priestess Path women choose because they love the experience they are having together. The second year is very different than the first. It focuses on a woman's individual goals and brings the apprenticeship into her every day life. From October through May, the second year meets five weekends, every other month on different weekends than the first year. Usually there is a first and second year of Priestess Path occurring each season.

The cost of the training for 2009- 2010 is $3,100. Paypal is not available as a payment method for Priestess Path for either tuitions or deposits. It is expected that women will value themselves and the program as this is often less than one semester of college. You are worth it. To register you will need to attend an hour long conference call to hear logistics and ask questions. Inquire for conference call times to choose from.  If you decide that Priestess Path Apprenticeship is the right next step for you, send by mail a non-refundable $500 deposit by check to reserve your space (For 2009, $350 of the deposit is refundable up to April 15, 2009. $250 is refundable up to June 15th, 2009, $100 is refundable up to July 31, 2009 and none is refundable after August 1, 2009**). Space is limited to twenty-four women. There is almost always a waitlist. The remaining balance will be due one month prior to the program. You are required to attend all of the weekends. You are responsible for the payment plan of entire program at the onset of the first weekend regardless of whether you complete the year or miss a weekend. Registration for 2009-2010 is now opening with informational one hour teleconferences to choose from that are on the website now. The program usually fills quickly and can be difficult to get into due to space. Who knows what this year will bring and I think that is a question all of us are asking. Priestess Path is continuing onward with the expectation that we will have a group of committed women in September. Dates are now available for 2010 and 2011 beginning next year.
