Chaya Leia Sylvia, RN, BSN is a Registered Nurse, a Practitioner of the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal MassageTM, as well as a long-time dancer and yoga practitioner. In her quest for personal health, Belly Dance and Maya Abdominal MassageTM have been two of the key components.  She has studied belly dance with a variety of teachers, including Felicia Malachite of Northampton, MA, Zafira Dance Company (Philadelphia), Naraya of Vadalna Dance Company (Boston) and Sera Solstice of Solstice Studios (NYC). She has studied Cabaret, American Tribal Style (ATS), as well as Tribal Fusion. She danced with Vadalna Tribal Dance Company until recently and is now embarking on new adventures in dance and movement. Chaya studied Maya Abdominal Massage with Rosita Arvigo (Belize).

Chaya is deeply committed to the healing of the wombs, through movement and healing touch. She is available for private belly dance instruction and group classes as well as Maya Abdominal Massage sessions in both Cambridge and Northampton.
