Lula Christopher is the Founder of the Boston Black Women’s Health Institute, a grass-roots empowerment and health advocacy organization. Lula is a visionary, social activist, educator, healer and a Mineral person with a mission to inspire Black women to create physical, mental emotional and spiritual health and wellness in their lives and in their communities.

Lula is recognized as a national facilitator and trainer of community healing “Sister Circles” – sacred healing circles that provide space for women “seeking truth” to build bonds of sisterhood and relationships  through rituals, while sharing skills and tools to help them find and implement their own solutions as individuals and a community.  The Circles – a space for transforming and healing our lives - include meditation, dancing, journaling, telling our stories-remembering who we are and who we are becoming, and speaking our truths.

Lula’s vision is that women’s gifts as leaders and healers are recognized and affirmed and that women’s leadership is continually developed and nourished through all stages of their lives from girlhood to women in their senior years.

Lula completed the 2 year Indigenous African Spirit Technology training with Dagara Elder Malidoma Somé and the Beyi Ritual at the East Coast Village in Cherry Plains, NY.  Lula is currently serves as a Interim – Board Chair of the Ancestral Wisdom Bridge Foundation.
